Book of Preludes: 1-15 for Piano (CD and Print)
Over the years, I have been writing expressive character pieces for solo piano. The Book of Preludes: 1-15 for Piano is a collection of “Neo-Romantic” works which resemble the short, evocative pieces of Beethoven, Chopin and Debussy, but possess elements of later styles such as new-age, jazz and avant-garde. The first prelude was composed shortly after the new millennium with the 15th and final prelude completed on October 8, 2013. The print music is available at the Wehrli Publications Store and Amazon.com. The recordings are available at the Wehrli Publications Store as well as Amazon, iTunes, CDBaby, Spotify, and others. Studio City Lifestyle Magazine publisher Barry Wise is also a poet/songwriter who enjoys having his lyrics and melodies turned into musical tracks. One of my longest music collaborations has been with Barry, along with award-winning co-writer, Deedee O’Malley. I’ve taken their musical sketches from concept to completion. “I have known Barry Wehrli for years and love working with him” says Wise.
In early 2018, I joined the Rod Stewart tribute Forever Rod. Here is footage from our 2018 concert at the Camarillo Fiesta and Street Fair.
